Congratulations to Jared Allen, of Polk County High School's baseball team, for being named Charter's Player of the Week. Allen posted two home runs, a triple and a double, plus drove in 11 runs during a three-game span. Named the District 5-AA Co-Player of the Year earlier this week, the University of Tennessee signee has hit 10 homers and driven in 50 runs so far this season while posting a .621 on base percentage.
