Big Spring United Methodist Church will be celebrating Easter in grand fashion this year.

The annual Easter cantata will be presented on Palm Sunday, this weekend. Feature artists will be the Big Spring Chancel Choir as well as several guest musicians — including brass and string quintets from Lee University, keyboardist Mary Beth Wickes, and several of Lee’s finest vocalists.

The program, “The Message of Christ Through the Eyes of Charles Wesley,” tells the story of Jesus Christ, using the poetry of one of the greatest hymn-writers of all-time, and co-founder of the Methodist church, Charles Wesley.

The service will begin at 11 a.m. A special “love offering” will be taken to bless all of the musicians who will be joining us for the morning.

Big Spring United Methodist is located at 1196 Hardwick St. in South Cleveland.
