The series began last year with an unconventional journey through America’s history by Lee University History Department Chair and TCPS AP History teacher Dr. Randy Wood.
During his presentation, Wood highlighted great American patriots who allowed their faith to guide their love of their country.
In this, the second annual lecture, Bell will speak on American patriotism. Also during the event, Lauren Stout, a current fifth- grade student at TCPS, will speak on the topic, “What American Patriotism Means to Me.”
The event will take place in the Community Room at the Cleveland Bradley County Library on Thursday, from 7 until 8 p.m.
A reception for Robert and Barbara Wright will be held at 6:30 p.m. It is open to the public, but requires reservations, as seating is limited.
To RSVP, please call 423-559-8939, ext. 100.
