Cleveland students named to McCallie Honor Rolls

Several students from Cleveland who attend the McCallie School have been named to the first semester Honor Rolls.

These students earned spots on the Headmaster’s List for making all As in regular courses and no grade lower than a B+ in honors or Advanced Placement courses, or to the Honor Roll, for earning at least an overall B+ average with no grade lower than a B–.

Eric Wolf and Zain Siddiqui are Upper School students named to the Headmaster’s List, while Reed Turpin was named to the school’s Honor Roll.

Middle School students selected to the Headmaster’s List include Benjamin Holt and Weimer Macuri-Espinoza. Middle School student Will Melton and Leon Yu are listed on the Honor Roll.

Additionally, Weimer Macuri-Espinoza, Will Melton, Reed Turpin, Eric Wolf and Leon Yu were selected to the Faculty Recognition List as a special acknowledgement of their academic efforts during the semester.

n Samuel Hornsby of Decatur was named to the first semester Honor Roll at the McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Students gain spots on the Honor Roll for earning at least an overall B+ average with no grade lower than a B–.

Samuel Hornsby is the son of Howard and Tenna Hornsby of Decatur.

McCallie, a college preparatory school for boys, is considered one of the nation’s top independent schools.
