The Ocoee Middle seventh-grade boys team ran their record to 7-4 on the season with a 47-32 victory over Chattanooga Christian School friday.

The Colts only led by one at the half, 22-21, but put the full-court press on in the third quarterand cruised to the 15 point victory.

Josh Jones once again led the Colts with 12 points and seven rebounds. He came up just short on his third double-double in a row. Wes Wagner continued his hot shooting with a 3-pointer from downtown and finished with 10 points. Avery Jones had a great night with nine points and 11 rebounds while Matthew Meadows had nine points, four rebounds and two steals. Ben Clark had three points, three rebounds and three steals. Kylar Lynn had two points and three rebounds while Josh Davis contributed two points and three rebounds. Tyler Carpenter had three assists on the night while Peyton Parker and Wagner had two each.

The OMS eighth-grade Colts put another win in the books on Friday night defeating the Chattanooga Christian Team 29-8.

Daniel Clark led the Colts in the victory with 10 points and nine rebounds. Elijah Haynie posted five points and one rebound. Sean Conway and Alex White netted four points each. Conway had two boards and White grabbed one rebound. Ty King drained a 3-pointer and grabbed three rebounds. Luke Rymer put back two points and brought down six rebounds. Hagan Franklin tossed in one free throw to finish the scoring for the night. Franklin and Tyler Kellar had one rebound each. Milik Montgomery and Ian Stanbery had two rebounds apiece to finish out defensively for the Colts.

OMS sixth grade

Lady Colts

The OMS sixth-grade Lady Colts added three more wins this past week.

On Monday, the Lady Colts defeated Meigs County 31-13. Jillian Walker led the way with eight points. Laney Houston and CyCy White followed with six points apiece and Jade Mayo finished with four. E.K. Brown, Halle Hughes and Rylee Farmer contributed two each while while Ali King chipped in with one point.

Thursday, the Lady Colts beat Madisonville 32-20.

King led the way with nine points. Walker finished with seven, while Brown and White finished with five. Mya Patel and Farmer both finished with four and two points respectively.

Saturday, the Lady Colts used a very balanced scoring attack to defeat Chattanooga Christian.

Hughes, Walker, and Farmer led the way with eight points a piece and Brown tallied six points. White and Kailty Borton finished with four points. Houston and Mayo netted three and King, Julia McGuire and Olivia Williams all finished with two points each.a
