William Ray 'Bill' Wiggins


William Ray “Bill” Wiggins, 61, of Delano, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2019, at home surrounded by his family.

He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He liked to fish and spend time outside. He loved spending time with his family and considered his grandchildren to be his prized possession. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Haroldean Wiggins; and his grandparents, Chester and Ada Moss.

Survivors include his loving wife, Betty Wiggins; son, Tommy (Shannon) Prater; beloved grandchildren: Kadee Prater, Rhea Lenoir, Jazmine Talbert, Anna Talbert, Jonathan Hunt and Shane McNeely; sister, Marion (Jimmy) Kerr; two nieces: Julie (Brad) Green and Emily (Forrest) Renner; great-nieces: Hannah Green, Sara Katherine Green, Maggie Renner, Callie Renner and Olivia Renner; great-nephews: Jacob Green, and Luke Renner; in-laws: David (Florine) Jenkins; and six loving pets: Toby, Tim, Jethro, Nikkie, Petey and Callie Sue.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019, in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home in Benton.

His family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
