William Douglas “Doug” Grant, 57, a longtime resident of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday morning, Jan. 8, 2017, at his home.
He was born on July 16, 1959, a son of the late Frances Eaton Owensby. He was a local housepainter for many years. He was of the Baptist faith and member of Maple Street Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Sullivan Grant; three sisters; several nieces and nephews; and other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A Celebration of His Life is planned for Friday, Jan. 13, 2017, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home, 2419 Georgetown Road with the Rev. Blake Tinsley officiating.
The family will receive friends Friday from 1 until the 3 p.m. service time in the funeral home parlor.
