Students of Westmore Music Academy presented their annual Christmas recital on Dec. 14, 2017 in the sanctuary of Westmore Church of God.

Students of Westmore Music Academy presented their annual Christmas recital on Dec. 14, in the sanctuary of Westmore Church of God.

The program featured the students of Rita Ready, Judy Warrington, Vera Voznyuk and Zachary Carpenter. A variety of instrumental pieces were performed, as well as vocal selections.

Those participating in the recital performing on the piano were Lane Estrada, Brayden Maness, Evie Mazzolini, Lily Grace Deas, Brannon Smith, Brant Anderson, Alysse Ferenchuk, Georgiana Kapo, Nolen Samuel, Krishna Patel, Danyel Turbessi, Devin Martin, Eli Kasper, Jake Linam, Rachel Ross, Dr. George Samuel, Addy Bot, Gabe Michaels, Aubrey Ballew, Lillian Rogers, Siddhi Patel, Jimmy Mazzolini, Vi Lepore, Genievieve Owens, Grayson Owens, Lilly Winters, Josie Linam and Dr. Andrew Gross.

Violin pieces were played by Luke Kasper.

Hallie Wielfaert performed a vocal selection titled, “How Far I’ll Go.” Voice instructor Voznyuk was joined by two of her students, Wielfaert and Jessica Lanberg, to finish the program with a performance of “Light of the World.”

The academy has announced the addition of guitar instructor Chris Glass. Teaching bass guitar and percussion will be Justin Glass.

Westmore Academy offers private instruction in piano, violin, guitar and voice, as well as other instruments. Kindermusik, for children ages newborn to 7 years old, is offered as well with teacher Dee Lancaster.
