CHATTANOOGA — Battling all the way to the final race, the Waterdogs were able to pull out a tight win over Ridgeside in Monday evening's Chattanooga Area Swim League action.

CHATTANOOGA — Battling all the way to the final race, the Waterdogs were able to pull out a tight win over Ridgeside in Monday evening's Chattanooga Area Swim League action.

The back-and-forth action saw the meet go down to the wire with the Waterdogs able to claim a 345-330 victory.

The victors had 16 swimmers score in double-digits, while the Dolphins had 15.

Davina Sharma led the Waterdogs with 19 points, with Jae Dauphimais right behind with 18.

Caiden Cross, Laura Ward and Grace Dauphinais each tallied 17 points in the victory.

Benjamin Williams and Elijah Bean helped out with 15 points apiece, while Maddy Dauphinais added 14.

Brady Adams posted 13 and Timothy Collier 12.5 for the Waterdogs, followed closely by a dozen each from Levi Steve and Mason Cross.

Noah Thornton and Sarah Silvenis notched 11 points apiece, with Will Fowler adding 10.5 and Emilie Thompson 10.

Now 2-1 in CASL White Division action, the Waterdogs will travel to take on the Cumberland Currents Thursday at 5:30 p.m. Ridgeside slips to 1-2 on the season.

No information about the Cleveland Aqua Tigers Monday meet against Calhoun (Ga.) was available at presstime.

CAT will entertain the Chattanooga Country Club (2-1) squad Thursday at 6 at the Tinsley Pool.
