Brittany Danielle Walker of Cleveland and Richard Lucas Thomason of Benton will be united in marriage on Oct. 14 in a 3 p.m. ceremony at Zion Baptist Church in Benton.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Dale and Denise Walker of Cleveland. She is the granddaughter of Judy Eller of Cleveland and the late J.C. Eller, and Junie Walker of Cleveland and the late Clifton Walker. She is the sister of Amber Walker Cook of Etowah.

The future bridegroom is the son of Edwin E. and Wanda Thomason of Benton. He is the grandson of the late Richard and Helen Thomason and Ethelene Bridges of Benton, and the late L.B. Bridges. He is the brother of Julie Hicks.

Miss Walker is a 2008 graduate of Walker Valley High School and a 2012 graduate of Cleveland State Community College. She is employed by Whirlpool.

Mr. Thomason is a 2005 graduate of Polk County High School and a 2007 graduate of Lawson State Community College. He is employed by Bradey Concrete.

They are both members of GoLife Church.
