Vicki Burley, 65, a resident of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017.
She was a very loving woman who would often go out of her way to help anyone in need. She had a heart for others and would always be eager to learn about them. More than anything, she loved her family. She will be remembered as a loving girlfriend, mother, grandmother, and sister, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving companion and caregiver of 19 years, Francisco Hernandez; children: Tonia Poquette and Lawrence "Larry" Fecteau; sisters: Linda DeMontigny, Judy Mirabella, and Susan Busby; cousins: Roger Burt and Donnie Burt; and numerous extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017, at Companion Funeral Home, 2419 Georgetown Road N.W.
A Celebration of Life service is planned for noon on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017, at the funeral home. After the service, she will be laid to rest in Earl's Cemetery.
