Bradley County Trustee Mike Smith said his office at its temporary location will be open for business Monday at 8:30 a.m.
The office has temporarily moved to the former SouthEast Bank branch at the corner of 17th and Keith Streets, as a result of the recent fire at the county courthouse.
"Although we have been in the building for a week, we had to get our cash drawers ready as well as making sure all of our technology was properly running before we felt comfortable in beginning full service," Smith said.
We didn't want to open one minute before we knew everything was in place to serve the taxpayers of Bradley County in the efficient and courteous manner to which they are accustomed."
"I am very appreciative to the staff at the Trustee's Office for their hard work in helping to get the office up and running," Smith said. "As of Monday morning, it will be business as usual at the County Trustee's Office."
