Tommy ‘Runt’ Langford

Tommy “Runt” Langford, 73, a resident of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017.

He worked faithfully at Magic Chef for 27 years. In his free time, he loved to be outdoors. He was known for working hard in his garden and he always loved hunting and fishing; but more than anything, he loved his family. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, J.L and Ruth Langford; and brother, Bobby Langford.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his children: Dean (Alicia) Langford and Tyson Langford; grandchildren: Garrett Langford, Dawson Langford, Logan Langford and Jacob Helton; siblings: Eddie (Joyce) Langford, Mary Lynn (Bob) Green, and Shirley (Jack) Clayton; ex-wife, Janice Langford; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. 

The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m.  Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017, at the Cedar Springs Baptist Church, 723 Cedar Springs Road S.E., Cleveland.
A Celebration of Life service is planned for 2 p.m. at the church on Thursday with Bobby Green and Jack Clayton officiating the service. 

Following the service, he will be laid to rest in the Cedar Springs Cemetery with Garrett Langford, Dawson Langford, Jacob Helton, Logan Langford, Erik Langford, Jeff Langford and Tim Langford serving as pallbearers.
