Thompson hired as financial specialist

Katriina Thompson has joined Pinnacle Financial Partners as a financial specialist. She is based at the firm’s Cleveland office located on 10 Church St.

“Katriina has a great reputation for providing distinctive service and effective advice to clients,” said Keith Barrett, financial advisor, area manager and Pinnacle’s Cleveland office leader. “She is an excellent addition to our team.”

Thompson brings 25 years of financial services experience to her role. She most recently comes from First Tennessee Bank, where she was a teller. Prior teller roles were with Grand Bank & Trust of Florida and Colonial Bank in Lantana, Fla.

Pinnacle Financial Partners provides a full range of banking, investment, trust, mortgage and insurance products and services designed for businesses and their owners and individuals interested in a comprehensive relationship with their financial institution.

Pinnacle began serving Chattanooga in 2015 when it acquired CapitalMark Bank & Trust, a community institution with an excellent record of service and growth. Pinnacle continues that tradition: the firm is the fourth-largest bank in Chattanooga in terms of deposits and is also one of the fastest growing.

The firm began operations in a single location in downtown Nashville in October 2000 and has since grown to approximately $21.8 billion in assets as of Sept. 30, 2017. As the second-largest bank holding company headquartered in Tennessee, Pinnacle operates in 11 primarily urban markets in Tennessee, the Carolinas and Virginia.
