Terry Parton, 66, a resident of Calhoun, passed away Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017, at the family residence.
He was the son of the late Nathan and Virginia Marr Parton.
He retired from Bendix with over 30 years of service. He was also a captain with the Cleveland City Police Department. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved all kinds of sports, including cars and football. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his children: Tammy Parton, and Dewayne Parton and his wife, Christina; his grandson, Adam Dixon; and his beloved pet, Cane.
A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 2 o’clock Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017, at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel.
The interment will follow at Michigan Avenue Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 5 until 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
