Music at the Mill will feature a fusion of Metal, Punk and Indie Rock at MunkFest—their biggest event yet, featuring bands from Birmingham and Huntsville, Ala., Cleveland, Chattanooga and Northwest, Ga.
The line-up includes: Keeping Composure, Moth Face, The Levitical Task, The Mercy Chapter, Guitar Fight From Fooly Cooly, Amune and Inclination of Direction.This is an all-ages show. Feel free to bring your own chair and cooler.

Beaty Hardware is hosting an Ugly Dog Contest on Saturday, July 13, at 10 a.m. Owners of a “uniquely endearing” pup are encouraged to enter. Prizes are donated from Tucker Milling. Dogs must be up to date on vaccinations, on a leash and the owners are responsible for their pets. The show will take place in the back parking lot under the trees. Week 5 of Summer Story Time at Bradley Square Mall features Spider-Man, presented by Pope’s Martial Arts Academy. The character will be available for photos after the reading of the Little Golden Book “The Amazing Spider-Man.” Stop by the registration booth to receive a Mary Poppins coloring page for your child, store coupons for you and a chance to win one of five great door prizes. Registration begins at 10 a.m. You will not want to miss this opportunity to let your children experience the enjoyment of exciting Story Time with live characters. Who said playing in the mud was just for kids? Not these guys. They have created a fun Family Adventure Course for you, your family or friends to enjoy. You will be able to run, play and get messy. The course involves 13 obstacles, puzzles and lots of MUD. Whether you want to compete with other families, or just want to let loose and get messy, this is the course for you. This is a great team building exercise for families, friends or any group looking to have some outdoor fun together.
What To Bring: athletic shoes, sunscreen, bug spray, water, a change of clothes and a towel —an outdoor shower will be available for you at the end of the course. Admission is $19.95 per person, Children 6 and under get in free (with adult admission.) Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. *Waiver Must Be Signed By Each Participant*
