Tuesday, April 16, 7:30 p.m.

This 2005 Tony Award winner for Best Musical is a musical comedy “lovingly ripped off” from the 1975 film “Monty Python and the Holy Grail.” The story begins as King Arthur is traveling around England recruiting his Knights of the Round Table. When he and his band of misfit knights finally gather in Camelot, they receive a charge from God to find the Holy Grail. The quest brings King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table to strange places and into the company of strange characters, challenging them to keep their heads on straight or die terribly weird deaths. Tickets are $37 to $77.

• Chattanooga Film Festival

Thursday, April 11 to Sunday, April 14

Ranked as one of the "30 Bloody Best Genre Fests in the World 2019" by MovieMaker Magazine, CFF aims to welcome any moviegoer into its arms, treat them to something specialized for their eyeballs and send them off into the world singing praises that yield a chart-topping hit. Not only does this fest feature "something for everyone," but it does so with authority. Classic films. Horror Films. Documentaries. Drama. Westerns. Music Documentaries. Sci-Fi. Animation. Cult Classic and, sometimes, rare physical prints of films thought lost to time. CFF will often feature their "World Premiere" at CFF. Chattanooga Film Festival delights in showing you films that you didn't know you needed to see that end up creeping into your own "best of" or "top 50" lists. Visit the fest for great films, special guests (including past guests such as Elijah Wood – "Lord of the Rings"; Clint Howard, Alex Winter – "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure"; director Bobcat Goldthwait – "World's Greatest Dad" and returning legendary film champion and current Shudder streaming platform "The Last Drive-in" host, Joe Bob Briggs). There will also be food trucks and film workshops galore. Tickets are available on the chattfilmfest.org site.
