Four individuals were arrested following a short car chase by the Bradley County Sheriff's Office Sunday.
BCSO Communications Director James Bradford said the incident occurred during a traffic stop attemp.
"A vehicle failed to respond to our patrol deputy when a traffic stop was initiated on North Ocoee Street close to Gale Drive," Bradford said. "There was a brief pursuit on North Ocoee Street, and deputies finally got the vehicle stopped at Mouse Creek Road."
Bradford said a patrol car was damaged when the car being pursued rammed it near the trunk. He did not give information on the extent of the damage, but did say no one was injured in the incident.
He said the four occupying the vehicle were arrested. He was unable to report the charges that were placed on the four, or why they did not initially stop for the deputy.
Further investigation into the incident is continuing today.
