Seleta Hyde

Seleta Anne Higgins Hyde, 82, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019, at a local hospital.

She was of the Baptist faith and attended North Cleveland Baptist Church.

 She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Edward Hyde; and parents,  Hershel Higgins and Kathleen Whitlock Higgins.

She is survived by her children: Kenneth “Kenny” Hyde of Cleveland, Teresa (Larry) Bryant of Cleveland, and Billy (Tracy) Hyde of Blue Ridge, Ga.; grandchildren: Miranda Harper, Blake Hyde, Brad Bryant, Will Bryant, Bretton Deal, Bryce Deal, and Macy Deal; great-grandchildren: Blake Moses, Ashlin Harper, and Emorie Nicholson; special nephew, Tim Hyde; along with several other nieces and nephews.

 The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jonathan Pierce officiating.

Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens mausoleum with a white dove release ceremony, and playing of bagpipes concluding the service.  The grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.  

 The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday.
