The Salvation Army will kick off the Cleveland Salvation Army’s Christmas Campaign at Peerless Road Church of God of Prophecy tonight at 6 o'clock.

State Rep. Dan Howell, who will emcee the event, will welcome Cleveland Mayor Kevin Brooks to make the first donation into the 2018 Red Kettle.  Special music will be performed by Prospect Elementary, TN Christian Prep and Lake Forest Middle School. They will share the sounds of the season in festive form.

This year’s Red Kettle goal for Cleveland is $125,000.

The Tennessee Valley will begin to hear the bells and be able to adopt Angels from their Angel Trees Friday, Nov. 9. Angel Trees are located at Hamilton Place Mall, Northgate Mall, and Bradley Square Mall.  Thousands of volunteers are needed to ring the bells and adopt the angels.  To volunteer visit: csarmy.org

All are encouraged and welcome to attend the kickoff celebrations. For more information, contact Kimberly George, director of Marketing and Development, at 423-505-9154 or Kimberly.George@uss.salvationarmy.org.
