Roy E. Hair, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, Jan. 9, 2017, in a Chattanooga Health Care Facility.
He was the son of the late Robert and Geneva Fann Hair. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Hair; his son, Roy Hair Jr.; and his sister, Frances Pulliam.
He was a well-known car dealer owning and operating RH used cars for more than 50 years. He enjoyed anything to do with auto racing; NASCAR, dirt racing, and go carts. He loved the outdoors, going camping, Sunday drives and most of all he loved spending time with his family. He was of the Church of God faith.
Survivors include his daughters: Donna Brock and Teresa Wampler, both of Cleveland; his grandchildren: Michelle Beavers, Tim Hogg, Tiffany Fendley, and Nathan Hair; and his great-grandchildren: Brent and Tyler Beavers, Hailea Bennett, Jake and Kyle Hogg, Maddox, Makayla and Mason Fendley.
A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017, at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel with the Rev. Sammy Hughes officiating.
The interment will follow in the Fort Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends this evening, from 4 until 8, at the funeral home.
