Rosemary Poston, 93, of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2019, at her residence.
She was born on Dec. 31, 1925, in Chicago, Ill., to the late Joseph and Rose Martin Russell.
After retiring from AT&T, she moved to Cleveland, and lived the past 35 years in Bradley County. She graduated from Cleveland State Community College with an associate’s degree, and was a very active member of St. Therese of Liseux. She was one of the founders of the New Hope Pregnancy Center, and was very active in the pro-life movement.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph Poston; grandson, Kevin Miller; son-in-law, Jim Miller; and an infant son, Michael Magnus.
Survivors include her four children: Louise Miller and Carol Magnus of Cleveland, Daniel Magnus of Novato, Calif., and Rosemarie Swisher of Hampton, Va.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Anne Switchell of San Mateo, Calif.; and several extended family members and friends.
