Ashley Taylor Blankenship and Joshua Watson Rogers, both of Cleveland, were united in marriage in an afternoon ceremony on April 8, 2017, at The Barn at Living Water.

The bride is the daughter of Steve and Robin Blankenship of Chattanooga. She is the granddaughter of Randy and Mary Rudisell of Ooltewah, Ken and Sandy Blankenship of Chattanooga, and George and Pat Matula of Brady, Texas. She is the sister of Jack Blankenship and Ryan Blankenship, both of Chattanooga.

The bridegroom is the son of Jeff and Desty Rogers of Cleveland and Melanie Rogers of Dacula, Georgia. He is the grandson of Lloyd Rogers of Cleveland and the late Linda Rogers and the late Hugh and Shirley Harris. He is the brother of Jamie Rogers of Dacula, Jake Baggs and Jeremy Baggs, both of Kennesaw, Georgia, and Chelsea Bell of Australia.

The ceremony was officiated by the father of the bridegroom. Nuptial music was provided by a string quartet from Lee University.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father and attended by Collin Chunn of Birmingham, Ala., as maid of honor, and bridesmaids, Rachel Lang of Cleveland, Megan Clinard of Chattanooga and Chloe Gonzalez of Columbus, Ohio.

The best man to the bridegroom was Hunter Watts of Dacula. Groomsmen were Miguel Khan of Cleveland and Ernest Foy and Jamie Rogers, both of Dacula. Bradley Taylor and Ryan Adams were ushers.

Caroline Papa and William Papa, both of Kennesaw, were flower girl and ring bearer. Jack Blankenship and Ryan Blankenship were junior ushers.

The reception was given at The Barn at Living Water by the bride’s parents. Caysea Ledford attended the bride’s book and Jake Baggs the programs.

After a wedding trip to Saint Lucia, the newlywed couple resides in Cleveland.

Mrs. Rogers earned her bachelor of arts degree at Samford University and is employed by Scenic City Clinic of Chiropractic. Mr. Rogers received his bachelor of science degree at Lee University and is employed by Wholesale Supply Group.
