Richard M. Thompson, of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019, at his home surrounded by family.
He served in the United States Air Force. He was a member at Ladd Springs Seventh-day Adventist Church, and a member of Covenant of Praise men’s chorus. He loved country living, working with his hands, general aviation, and playing in the yard with his two dogs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Alice Thompson; sister, Janet Jones; and brothers: Jere Thompson and David Thompson.
He is survived by his wife, Judie Noorbergen Thompson; son, Murray (Tanya) Thompson; sister, Donna (Dick) Obrien; brother; Paul Thompson Jr.; grandchildren: Alysin, Samantha, Trevor, Alexander, Kristina, Benjamin, Jackson, Dolly, Martin, Jack, Corinne, Jacob, Robert, Seth and Josh; and nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, 3 to 5 p.m., at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral.
