Richard Leroy Jerger Sr., 65, of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019, at his residence.
He was born in Mansfield, Ohio, and had been a resident of Cleveland for the past 50 years, coming from Ohio. He enjoyed reading, especially Stephen King novels, and riding motorcycles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Ruth Jerger; and the mother of his children, Margaret Jerger.
Survivors include his children: Richard L. Jerger Jr. and Crystal Jerger; four sisters: Julia Russell, Dorothy Brown (Thomas), Paulette (Forgey) Crisp (Derrick) and Rebecca Dill; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A gathering of friends and family will be on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland.
