Randy Gail Baxter


Randy Gail Stafford Baxter, 69, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2019, in a Chattanooga hospital. 

 She was a resident of Cleveland, retired from Schering Plough, and was a member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, Gary "Stalk" Stafford; her oldest daughter, Tammy Lynn Stafford Jones Varnell; one son-in-law, Micheal Varnell; two granddaughters: Jessica LeeAnn Jones and Kristen Nichole Jones; one grandson, Davey Varnell; one brother, Carson Swafford; and parents, Jess King and Myrtle King.
She was survived by her present husband, Jackie Lee Baxter; two daughters: Paula Gail Stafford Cissom and Kimberly Renae Stafford Rogers; two brothers: Terry Swafford and Dennis Swafford; one sister, Joyce Wilson; two grandsons: Justin Cissom and Kaden Earls; two granddaughters: Sarah Nichole Dodson and Amber Nicole Ward; four great-grandchildren: Niki and John Dodson, Kaelee Bradford and Braelee Ward;  her stepdaughter, Gina Baxter of Chattanooga; and had several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She loved Jesus, her family, husband, daughters and grandkids very much.
A Celebration of Her Life will be Monday, April 15, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services, Wildwood Chapel, with the Rev. James Vaughn and the Rev. Jackie Epperson officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens, with Billy Swafford, Darrell Swafford, Willie Bain, Lee Stafford, Brandon Ward and Kenny Earls serving as casket bearers.  Honorary casket bearers will be Tommy Rogers, Justin Cissom and Kaden Earls. 

The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
