Phillip Frizzell Coleman
Phillip Frizzell Coleman, 66, of Charleston, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018, in a Chattanooga hospital.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He was a volunteer fireman safety coordinator and a member of Candies Creek Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Joyce Coleman; and parents, Phillip Emerson Coleman and Mary Louise Johnston Coleman.
Survivors include his wife, Terri Miller of Charleston; children: Shane Coleman and wife, Becky of Calhoun, Felicia McAlister and husband, Jeremy of Charleston, Zac Miller and wife, Maranda of Charleston, Ashley Sovastion and husband, Michael of Spring City and Mollie Childs and husband, Matt of Cleveland; 11 grandchildren: Pete and Tommy Coleman, Kadence, Kelsey and Kimber McAlister, Dave, Toby and Izzy Miller and Anna, Emma and Asher Sovastion; honorary brother, David Ramsey; and mothers-in-law: Dorothy Beaty and Laura Edwards.
The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018, at Candies Creek Baptist Church.
Interment will follow in Candies Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Loy Profit, Andy Profit, Justin Jones, Jim Hughes, Benny Atchley and Wayne Bunch serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Morris Clark, David Ramsey, Butch Hooper, Charles Wattenbarger, Zac Miller, Michael Sovastion and Matt Childs.
His family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesdayat Fike-Randolph and Son Funeral Home and on Thursday, from 3 to 4 p.m. ,at the church prior to the service.
