Past HCNA president seeks Lee compromise

Posted

To The Editor:

As a past HCNA (Historic Cleveland Neighborhood Association) president, I am disappointed that Lee University wants unconditional PI (Professional-Institutional zoning) on their side of Church Street.

Keep your R1 Buffer Zone intact. In PI, you can tear down and build anything you want. The rest of Church Street will fall to PI in the R1 Buffer Zone if this is granted by the City Council.

Let Lee use the Dethero  House anyway they like with conditional zoning.

Please compromise with the neighborhood because in the end we are all neighbors.

Thank you.
