What’s the big deal? This business about statues is crazy. Statues don’t protest.

The Civil War happened. It’s history. It can’t be undone. There were Union states and Confederate states. There’s North and South and East and West.

Let the Union statues stand beside the Confederate statues ... united in peace, side by side. It’s time. This fighting needs to stop! Now!

We are now the United States. Have we forgotten this?

I’m proud that New York is my home state. [But] I now live in Tennessee. I’ve lived here longer than I did in New York.

I like where I am. Tennessee is a beautiful state. I like it. Hey, there’s beauty everywhere. Look around ... wherever you go, near and far.

War ... any war ... is ugly. But we are united now. So everyone, please behave and believe in our great country. Stop fighting the Civil War in your minds. Get with it.

Thank God we are the United States. It’s who we are. Stand tall!

Remember: United we stand, divided we fall. Be proud of who we are.

I wonder how our Lord thinks of the world right about now. Our Lord is love, not hate. Be as He wants us to be.
