Ralph Willis, 61, a resident of Cleveland, passed away peacefully on Monday, Oct. 16, 2017, after a lengthy illness of several years.
He was a member of Full Gospel House of Prayer. He had a music ministry which was the joy of his life. He sang at many churches through his time. He will be dearly missed by all those that knew him.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Cleade Willis; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving mother, Mary Willis; sister, Edna Earls and her husband, Elmer Earls, of McDonald; one nephew, Elmer Earls II and his wife, Jessica, and sons; as well as several cousins.
The family will receive friends from noon to 3 p.m. Monday Oct. 23, 2017, at Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road N.W.
A celebration of life funeral is planned for 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Mike Feree and Will Dixon officiating the service.
After the service, he will be laid to rest in the Frazier’s Chapel Cemetery.
