Mary Louise Serum, 63, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2019, at Brookdale Mount Vernon of Cleveland.
She was a 1974 graduate of Bradley Central High School. She worked for many years at Joe Rodgers Office Supply with her husband. She loved her cats and playing the piano.
She was preceded in death by her parents: father, J. Newton Kile; mother, Hazel Kile Whaley; and stepfather, Clyde Whaley.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Greg Serum; son, Joshua (Samantha) of Cleveland; daughter, Amanda (Dustin) Kilgore, of Fort Eustis, Va.; grandchildren: Violet Serum, Rosemary Serum, Ansley Kilgore, and Clayton Kilgore; cousins: Alison Rafalovich (Danny Morrison) of Delhi, Calif., and Judy Bailey of Ooltewah; and special friend, Gena Reed.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon in the Cleveland chapel of Companion Funeral Home.
A memorial service will follow immediately .
