Mary Elizabeth Jorgenson passed away at a local healthcare facility in Cleveland, on Thursday, April 23, 2020, surrounded by family.
She was proceded in death by her husband, George E. Jorgenson of 56 years of Etowah; and a sister, Wanda Lusk of Heavner, Okla.
She is survived by daughter, Rosemary Moses (Mike Moses), of Charleston; son, John Paul Jorgenson (Lauren Jorgenson) of Meadview, Ariz., son, Benjamin Jorgenson of Niota; grandchildren: Casey Mason (Jeff Mason) Charleston, Kayla Calfee (Austin Calfee) of Charleston, Blake Jorgenson of Riceville, and Cooper Jorgenson, of Niota; great-grandchildren: Layla, Carter, and Caleb Mason; sister, Bobbie Parsons of Athens; special family member, Teresa Jorgenson; along with several nieces and nephews.
Mary was of Church of God faith. She enjoyed time with her family and traveling.
No formal services are being planned at this time.
