Maple Street Baptist Church will be celebrating the one-year anniversary of pastor Bryan Mowery and his wife, Shelia, on Sunday.
“We have had a remarkable year of growth and ministry under his leadership,” a church spokesman said.

Mowery holds a theology degree from Bethany University and a nursing degree from Cleveland State Community College.

“Thousands of Cleveland residents have benefit from his 30 years of ministry, whether his kind heart and tender touch in the medical field as a registered nurse or with his 29 years in pastoral ministry,” the spokesman said. “Bryan and Shelia have truly been the hands and feet of our Savior to so many.”

The celebration Sunday begins at 11 a.m., followed by a reception lunch.
