Lynn Marlene McCormack
Lynn Marlene England McCormack, 65, of Delano, passed away at Starr Regional Medical Center of Athens on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2017.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Polk County, attending Brookhill Baptist Church of Etowah, and was employed for several years at Davidson/Textron, and also Etowah Healthcare, as a caregiver. She was an avid gardener, and truly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the grandbabies.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elden and Leona Call England, and one sister, Rita England.
Survivors include her husband, David McCormack of Etowah; three children: Jeremy (Candy) England of Madisonville, Tami (Michael) Sanford of Delano, and Kevin McCormack of Delano; 14 grandchildren; one sister, Thelma “T.J” (Randy) Neal of Pensacola, Fla.; and one brother, Allen (Sheila) England of Delano.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted today, Nov. 30, 2017, beginning at 6 p.m., at Chestuee Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Hensley officiating.
