Linda Carolyn Stephenson Brown, 76, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, Aug. 6, 2018, in a local hospital.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, and was an avid bird watcher. Linda loved the snow in the winter and going to the beach in the summer. She was a member of North Cleveland Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Leland Brown; and parents, Eugene and Anna Ruth Stephenson.
She is survived by her children: Sharon Renee Brown and significant other, Chonia Patterson and Misty Michelle Brown, all of Cleveland; siblings: Ann Stephenson of Cleveland, Donna Kay Tucker and husband, Curtis, of Cleveland, Alan Stephenson and wife, Cecilia, of McDonald and Jerry Stephenson and wife, Teresa, of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 10, 2018, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Williams and the Rev. Cy Harris officiating.
Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Jeffrey Stephenson, David Stephenson, Jerry Brown, Adam Tucker, Jacob Stephenson and Curtis Tucker serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Woody and Alphus Ledford. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The family requests that memorials be made to Children’s Rise and Build Project of North Cleveland Church of God, 335 11th Street N.E., Cleveland, TN 37311.
