The 29th East Tennessee License Plate Meet will be held Saturday, Sept. 22, at the Tri-State Exhibition Center in the Exhibit Hall. The event will start at 8 a.m. and lasts until 1 p.m.

"East Tennessee Pl8s" has hosted the event for all 29 years. This is the oldest continuous meet of this type in Tennessee. This meet is sanctioned by the parent organization, the Automobile License Plate Collectors Association.

At this event, approximately 40 to 50 members attend, many to display their collections. Guests and prospective members may attend the meet at no charge. Many attendees are not only from Tennessee, but from surrounding states as well. A donation auction will be held at the conclusion of the meet.

For more information, contact Joe Sharp at 559-0836.
