Frozen Treat Social and Summer Musical Performance
For ages 18 and under, this program will include stories, performances and frozen treats to celebrate the 2018-2019 school year. Join us for a fun afternoon. Meets this Sunday in the Community Room from 2:00 to 3:15 p.m.
WiggleWorms is a baby program that targets children 2 years of age and under. Babies with their guardians will be listening to stories, rolling and bouncing, waddling and toddling to music including classical and multicultural, all for the purpose of developing motor and social skills. The program will be held in the Community Room Monday from 3 to 4 p.m.
Teen Advisory Group. We’ll be planning upcoming library events, crafts, and activities. For ages 13-17. Meets Monday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Teen Zone.
A technology petting zoo for ages 2 to 5, Osmo tablets, Dash and Dot robot, Codeapillar, literacy- driven Spell & Speak Sea Turtle, the Color Chameleon, and eWriters. Meets Monday evening in the Community Room from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m.
Need to get in shape? Join us for free classes offered every Tuesday,Thursday and Friday at 8:10 a.m.
Preschool Story Time
Lively story time for ages 3 to 5 years, with crafts, music and stories. Meets Tuesday from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. in the Community Room and again on Friday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Bilingual Story Time
Lively story time for ages 5 years and under, with crafts, music and stories in Spanish and in English. Meets 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. Tuesday in the Community Room.
Story time for ages birth to 3 yrs...stories, music & fun activities! Meets Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon and again at 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the Community Room.
STEAM is this Thursday for teens and tweens at 4:30 p.m. Join them to explore in areas of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math every month. The teens will be working on a top-secret challenge. The tweens group is for ages 6 - 12. For more information email email@example.com.
All ages are welcome to a Lego building event Friday at 12:15 p.m. in the Community Room. Come build with us.
Family Story Time
Join us for fun stories for the whole family with craft activities. Meets in the Community Room Saturday from 2:00 to 2:00 p.m.
The Book Nook
Don’t forget to stop by the Book Nook the next time you visit the library! Friends of the Library (FOLA) operates and maintains the Nook, where you can find gently used fiction and non-fiction books at bargain prices. Science Fiction, Mystery and Fantasy sections have all been recently added to the FOLA collection. Each month special sales are displayed on the table in the Book Nook area. Check out special savings this month on Childrens and Teens material. The Book Nook is located near the General Fiction department on the first floor.
Stop by the display of antique and collectible books on the main floor lobby the next time you visit the library. A book is provided for silent auction bids if you are interested in purchasing.
