Basics for Windows 10 will meet Monday from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Training Room. Come learn about the latest version of Windows.

WiggleWorms is a baby program that targets children 2 years of age and under. Babies with their guardians will be listening to stories, rolling and bouncing, waddling and toddling to music including classical and multicultural, all for the purpose of developing motor and social skills. The program will be held Monday from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Community Room. 
Resume Workshop
This class will provide step-by-step guidance for creating an effective resume. Class will be held in the computer training room on the library's second floor and ends at 8:30pm. Sign-up required; please contact the Nonfiction Desk at 423-472-2163 to reserve your space.

Do spreadsheets send you into a cold sweat? Come to the Basics for Excel class Tuesday in the Training Room from 9 to 11 a.m. and conquer your fear!

Preschool Story Time meets Tuesday and Friday in the Kid’s Zone from 10:30 to 11:15  a.m.

Bilingual Story Time Meets Tuesday from 1 to 1:45 p.m. in the Community Room.

Basics for Word class meets Wednesday from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Training Room.

Romance Author Program/Book Signing
Romance author Carol Opalinski will discuss writing for the Romance genre in the Carmichael Room from 10 to 11 a.m. She will be giving away signed copies of her latest book while they last in the Lobby from 11 a.m. to noon.

Baby Bookworms meets on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. to noon and at 1 to  2 p.m. Story time for ages birth to 3 years old ... stories, music and other fun activities!

Library tour

Have you ever wanted to discover the inner-workings of your public library, or maybe you’re interested in the history of the building?  Whichever it is you can participate in a tour of the library this Thursday.  Meet at the Circulation Desk promptly at 4 p.m. for the tour.

Lego Club  

Thursday the club for ages 8-12 will be beginning work on Lego Weekend projects with the theme of Robotics.  Meet in the Community Room from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

FOLA Book and Coffee
The Friends of the Library Association, FOLA, will host their Book and Coffee series in the History Branch Parlor Room at 10 a.m., this Friday.  Join your friends as you enjoy coffee and a book review.   It is not necessary to have read the book prior to coming to this event.  The purpose of Book & Coffee is to pique your interest.  This free event is open to the public and FOLA provides the coffee.  

Midday Legos

Come build with us in the Community Room Friday from 12:15 to 1:45 p.m. for a free Legos program for all ages. 

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Preparation

Need help with your income tax? VITA Preparation will be available at the library every Saturday through April. Come get free assistance with your taxes this Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.


Pokemon Club
Join us for Pokemon battles, trading and just plain fun. Please feel free to bring you cards. This club is for ages 7-12, boys and girls are welcomed.
