Join us for our regular genealogy class, hosted by History Branch Librarian Margot Still. The class will meet in the History Branch from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. and will cover what to do with your DNA test results using GEDmatch.
WiggleWorms is a baby program for children 2 years of age and under. Babies with their guardians will be listening to stories, rolling and bouncing, waddling and toddling to music including classical and multicultural, all for the purpose of developing motor and social skills. The program will be held in the Community Room on Mondays at 3 p.m.
Teen Zone Gaming

To celebrate National Library Card Sign Up Month, we are offering free replacement library cards for the month of September! The Book Nook
Don’t forget to stop by the Book Nook the next time you visit the library! Friends of the Library (FOLA) operates and maintains the Nook, where you can find gently used fiction and non-fiction books at bargain prices. Science Fiction, Mystery and Fantasy sections have all been recently added to the FOLA collection. Each month, special sales are displayed on the table in the Book Nook area.
Friends of the Library Book and Coffee Series
Join your friends for coffee and a book review in the History Branch Parlor every third Friday of the month at 10 a.m. September’s review will be by Dr. Daniel L. Gilbert on the first volume of "Into the Mist: Tales of Death and Disaster, Mishaps and Misdeeds, Misfortune and Mayhem in Great Smoky Mountains National Park."
We are in need of a volunteer bilingual in Spanish and English for the Children’s Department. Must be dependable, love working with children, be computer literate, be able to climb, lift and carry, and be willing to assist at special events that may include weekends.
