Lawana F. Dearnell
Lawana F. Dearnell, 74, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017.
She was retired from “His Song Ministries” after 10 years of service. She was a member of the Dwelling Place Church, and had a passion for her animals.
She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Benson Ellis.
Survivors include her mother, Mildred Law Ellis of Cleveland; daughter, Jaina Spencer, and husband, William, of Lawrenceville, Ga.; grandchildren: Raquel Spencer of Dalton, Ga., and Justin Spencer of Lawrenceville; sister, Mary Hollifield, and husband, Charles, of Mechanicsville, Va.; brothers: Donald Ellis, and wife, Juanita, of Cleveland, and Michael Ellis, and wife, Wynell, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; several nieces and nephews; and her Pomeranian dog, Maxx.
The service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017, in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home, with Pastor Jamie Tuttle officiating.
Her family will receive friends on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Humane Society at the SPCA of Bradley County Tenn., Attn: Treasurer, P.O. Box 703, Cleveland TN 37364-0703.
