A hearing for a  Cleveland woman arrested by the Cleveland Police Department for aggravated child abuse was rescheduled due to the lack of having an interpreter in the courtroom.

The woman, Olga Sevilla, 38, of 1900 Ohio Avenue, Cleveland, was arrested after the CPD was contacted by a social worker at T.C. Thompson Children's Hospital regarding an infant  admitted to the hospital with multiple injuries.

The arrest took place on Jan. 3.

According to a CPD report, the social worker contacted the police department after the 3-month-old was admitted to the hospital for "several injuries that included a broken finger, a broken wrist, a fractured rib, a busted upper lip, a swollen right ear due to some type of force, a hole in her mouth caused by force feeding, bruising on her stomach and damage to her liver."

In addition, the infant was "extremely malnourished, weighing a little over two pounds," the report stated.

Sevilla was arrested and transported to the Bradley County Jail, where she remains on a $250,000 bond.

She was placed on an Immigrations and Customs Enforcement hold due to her immigration status.

The woman reportedly told investigators her daughter's injuries were caused when her "5-year-old nephew dropped the infant."

According to the report, another child who was with Sevilla at the hospital was  taken into protective custody by the Department of Children's Services.

The doctors said the injuries had occurred over a long span of time, and the dates on which the child sustained the injuries were unknown, the report stated.

Sevilla is now scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, Jan. 15.
