Kenneth "Ken" Calvin Hall, 84, of Soddy Daisy, passed away Monday, Oct. 30, 2017.
He was a member of the Sequoyah Church of God, where he served as the choir director for more than 56 years, all the way up until his death. He traveled around with the Singing Hall Family and helped start and was involved in the gospel singings held at Hardee's Restaurant in Hixson, Soddy Daisy and Dayton. He was retired from TVA Sequoyah.
He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Patty Sue Hall; three sons: Tony Hall, Jeff (Joy) Hall, and Jon Hall; a daughter, Kathy Hall (Bryan) Painter; and two grandchildren, Hope Hall and Hadassah Painter.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017, at the Sequoyah Church of God with the Revs. Larry Lindsey and Jimmy Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens with military honors.
Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. today, Oct. 31, 2017, at Williamson and Sons Funeral Home, 8852 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy.
