Katie Lorena Hannah Thomas, 88, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2019, at a local healthcare facility. 

She was a lifelong resident of Bradley County. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She retired from Charleston Hosiery after 40 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Langston Hannah and Ollie Hannah Nicholas; daughter, Brenda Jean Wooten; brother, John R. Hannah; and sisters: Nannie L. Hannah and Annie C. Bradley.

Survivors include her daughters: Pam Thomas Greene and husband, and Bobby, Kim Love Best and husband, Mac, all of Cleveland; special niece, Paula Hannah Morgan and husband, Tyler; grandsons: Brad (Amanda) Greene, Kyle (Amber) Greene, Dustin (Roxanne) Love, and Tyler (Laura) Love; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, the Rev. Dudley (Dorothy) Nicholas; sister, Susan (Robert) Sullivan; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. today, April 15, 2019, in Sunset Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Dudley Nicholas officiating. Brad Greene, Dustin Greene, Braylee Greene, Dustin Love, Tyler Love and Tyler Morgan will serve as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. prior to the graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Boys and Girls Club of the Ocoee Region, 385 3rd St. S.W., Cleveland, TN 37311.
