Gann awarded Life Time Membership Award

Georgia Gann was recently awarded the Life Time Membership Award for her nearly 50 years of membership in the Cleveland Civitan Club. Gann spoke of her joy as a member of the Cleveland Civitan Club. She is especially proud to have joined the club at a time when most other civic organizations did not have women members. She is a trail blazer and has always served the club in all benevolent projects including: Soles for Orphan Souls, Caring Place Snack Pack Drive, Samaritan's Purse Shoe Boxes, New Hope Pregnancy Center Diaper Drive, and Special Olympics. Johnson said that Gann had served as a mentor to her when she first joined the field of banking. Fox stated that she and Gann had become good friends after years of working side by side in the banking business. Gann is the second member of the club to have received this distinction.
