Joy Dianna DeLay
Joy Dianna DeLay, 60, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019, in a Nashville hospital.
She was born on July 13, 1958, a daughter of the late James and Faye DeLay.
She was a member of All Nations Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie DeLay.
Joy leaves behind to cherish her memory three siblings: the Rev. Mike DeLay (Melissa), Gayla Guy ( Willie) and Tammy Couch (Terry); nine nieces and nephews: Tony DeLay (Missy), Paul DeLay, Beth Guy, LaManda DeLay Bowers, Nick Guy (Jennifer), Michael DeLay (Courtney), Nina Couch, Patrick Guy and Zack Couch (Lydia); and numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A Celebration of Her Life was held Wednesday in the Cleveland chapel of Companion Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Whitmire officiating.
The family received friends at the funeral home prior to the service time.
The interment and committal service will take place today, July 11, 2019, at 11 a.m. in the Lee Cemetery in McDonald, with her nephews serving as pallbearers.
