Joe Collins was recently added to the board of directors of the Chattanooga Mortgage Bankers Association for 2019. The association works to ensure the continued strength of the residential and commercial real estate markets; to expand homeownership prospects through increased affordability, and to extend access to affordable housing. The Chattanooga Mortgage Bankers Association aligns itself with the highest standards of excellence and integrity in the mortgage industry and recognizes the value mortgage banking brings to the community.

Collins joined Bank of Cleveland as a mortgage originator in 2015. Since that time, he has earned several awards for volume of loan closed. He also serves on the board of directors of the Ocoee Region Builders Association.

He is a graduate of Emory and Henry College with a bachelor of arts degree in economics and has an extensive background in the finance and insurance industry.

“Joe has been a great asset to our mortgage lending team,” said Tammy Self, Senior Vice President of Mortgage Lending. “He will be a valuable and dedicated director of the Chattanooga Mortgage Bankers Association.”

Contact Joe Collins at 478-8423, or email him at collinsj@bankofcleveland.com.
