James Sells

James Robert “Jim” Sells, 78, of McDonald, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019, in a local hospital.

He

was born in Livingston, to the late Beulah and Arthur Sells.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lanita Sells; son, Brian (Tammy) Sells of Cleveland; sister, Irene (Willie) Fletcher of Livingston; special friend, David Swafford; and four-legged companions, Marley and Blondie.

He served in the United States Army as a SFC. He was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and an active member of the McDonald/Black Fox Ruritan Club.

The funeral will be held at Moore Funeral Home, Trenton Chapel, Ga., today, Jan. 3, 2019, at 1 p.m., with Brother Gary Thacker and Shane Williams officiating.

He will be laid to rest at Sarah’s Chapel Cemetery in Wildwood, Ga., with full military honors.

The family will receive friends today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
