James “Scotty” Lowe, 73, of Benton, passed away peacefully on Friday, Jan. 8, 2021, at a Chattanooga healthcare facility.
He was born on June 3, 1947, to the late Maudie and Carl Lowe in Greasy Creek.
Scotty was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He was an avid trader and enjoyed fishing and working on cars.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved son, Gary Lowe; siblings: Estelle Rayburn, Austin Lowe, Rassie Lowe, Jerry Lowe and Loretta Lowe; and granddaughter, McKenzi Breanna Rogers.
Survivors include his beloved children: Tim Lowe and Tracy Rogers; grandchildren: Niki Brown, Jesse Lowe, Caitlyn Lowe, Tyler Rogers, Conner Lowe and Kelsey Rogers; five great-grandchildren; and siblings: Chassie Buckner, Clarie Davenport and Maryellen Ledford.
A Celebration of Life graveside service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 15, 2021, at Archville Baptist Church Cemetery.
