James Douglas 'Kitty' Kline
James Douglas “Kitty” Kline, 78, of Cleveland, passed away on Friday, Jan. 19, 2018.
He was born on Jan. 31, 1939, to the late J.D. and Earlene Kline.
Jimmy was a lifelong resident of Cleveland and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He was a car collector, and also enjoyed motorcycles.
In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pat Kline; his daughter, Denise Kline; and his sister, Othetta Walker Glover.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Charles Matthews (Renay); daughters: Angela Warren (Roosevelt), LaFrancis Kline and Karen Gee; a special friend, Katherine Hines; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will receive friends from noon until 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018, at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road, N.W.
A memorial service will be held after the visitation at 1 p.m.
