Recording star Jade Giordano will appear live on a local radio station next week for a one-hour interview.

WOOP Radio (99.9 FM) announced today that Giordano has agreed to appear on the station next Tuesday Feb. 13 at 7 am. The contemporary Christian artist is currently on tour supporting her hit album “I Will Declare.”

The hosts of the program are be Tom Cassada, who is a former member of the Bradley County Board of Education and currently serves on the Cleveland City Counci amd former state Senator Jeff Miller.

Daniel Brantley, the manager of 99.9 FM, announced that the interview with Giordano will also be streamed live on the station’s website (WOOPFM.com) in its entirety.

“Jade’s fans range from very young kids to adults and seniors and military veterans and it was important to us that they be able to hear this exclusive event anywhere in the United States,” said Brantley. “Jade will talk about her career, her album and the events in her life that have helped to shape such an interesting story.”

Fans will also be able to call in and ask Giordano questions on the station’s hotline: (423) 614-5553.

Giordano is a native of Lake Charles, Louisiana and graduated from Lee University in 2015.

Her album, I Will Declare was released in 2016 and has produced classics such as “Clean,” “Love is the Answer,” and “Spirit of the Living God.”

Giordano told former Cleveland Daily Banner Lifestyles writer Bettie Marlow last year, “"This has been an amazing time in my life and to see it come to pass is so rewarding. "God has been so faithful through it all and I look forward to advancing the Kingdom and making His Name famous."

“Jade gets compared to singers like Carrie Underwood for her vocal skill but she is truly an original who is saying something you don’t hear on the radio a lot these days,” said Brantley. “The kids won’t fall for something fake. They want the real thing and Jade is totally authentic.”

Brantley noted that Giordano often remains after her concerts to sign autographs, talk and even pray with her fans.

“She cares about them because like her fans, Jade is a survivor,” he said. “She is the voice of the future and this interview will be incredible.”
